Confidentiality &​ Data Protection

• Clinical supervision is a requirement for every counsellor/therapist in which your identity will be kept confidential

• All files are securely stored and accessed by me and no one else

• Your details will not be passed on to third parties

• IF goals are set at the start of your counselling sessions, some computerised records may be kept in order to track your progress (where appropriate).  Again, no identifying information will be kept within these records

• Notes are kept for 7 years (after completion of therapy) and then destroyed
